BTW, I also scanned for viruses using MS Forefront and did a check disk -- did not see any issues.
Thanks for any insights.

Below is the trace of the error message that I get after attemptng to diagnose an intermitten blue screen for a Dell Latitude (E6410) running Win 7.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: d1
BCP1: 000000000000002C
BCP2: 0000000000000002
BCP3: 0000000000000001
BCP4: FFFFF88004EAEC7E
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1
Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\081511-8424-01.dmp
C:\Users\ramui\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-67876-0.sysdata.xml
Last I recall is attempting to install Viewsonic to connect my laptop to a monitor, which I have since uninstalled (guessing that it may be one source of a driver related problem perhaps). Despite this, the intermittent blue screen encounter does not seem
to go away.
Thanks for any pointers.
