Restarted teh PC got as far as teh user selection screen. Selected user, after a few seconds the PC blue screened. Reboted and tried to enter safe mode, another blue screen. Then start up recovery started which after 30 minutes or so went to black screen; on reboot blue screened. Removed graphics card and reverted to built in graphics . Eventualy reboted and startt up recovery intiated got message that Problem Signature was 6.1.7600.16385 (more details available); and that this could not be fixed automatically.
