Blue Screen Laptop Shuts Down on Windows 7
I am running a new HP ProBook 4420s with intel core i3 processor with windows 7 . The laptop randomly shuts itself down for no apparent reason and reboots to the log in screen. After logging back in it says that it has recovered from an unexpected shutdown. It says it will check for a solution to the problem but then nothing else happens. Bug Check 0x50: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559023%28VS.85%29.aspx To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows. Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.
