Blue Screen Error - Please help
I am getting blue screen errors everytime I play a new game - StarCraft II. I have tried installing new video drivers and updating my BIOS but am still getting these crashes and can't figure out why. The blue screen error is most of the time a system_service_exception and technical information reads 0x0000003B with the file being dxgmms1.sys. The other error is IRQ_not_less_or_equal. There are of course dump files created but now I don't know what else to do to fix this. Please help!

Hi, · SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION(3b) is linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code. · IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) is mainly caused by driver too. · dxgmms1.sys is a driver file. According to the above description, the main cause is relevant to the graphic driver. To resolve this kind of issue, I would like to provide the following suggestions: 1. Please tell us the brand and model of your video card, ensure it meets the following system requirements: StarCraft II System Requirements Please note: we provide the third party link for technical use only. There may be some changes without notice, Microsoft doesn’t guarantee any accuracy on contacting information. 2. Install windows updates: 3. Update the graphic card driver to the latest version. If the issue persists, test the older version of graphic driver and install it in Windows compatibility mode. 4. Run dxdiag.exe to check the DirectX version, if you use the DirectX older than DirectX 9.0, please use DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer to update to 9.0c. 5. Run the Memory Diagnostic Tool. However, to solid troubleshoot this kind of issue, it is recommended to collect the minidump files and contact Microsoft Customer Support Service (CSS) for assistance so that this problem can be resolved efficiently. a. Since when are you facing this issue? b. Any recent changes made to your computer? c. Do you get this blue screen with error messages while using some specific application/program? Check if the issue persists in safe mode and post back with the status so, that we can help you better. To use a Safe mode option, follow these steps: 1. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears. 2. Use the arrow keys to choose Safe Mode in Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER. If you don't get that error message in safe mode then, it means that some third party application (running in normal mode) is causing the problem.
