It seems that your problems are caused by SRTSP64.SYS which belongs to Norton/Symantec. Please make sure that you update any Norton or Symantec product on the machine. You could also uninstall the Norton software and instead rely on the built in Windows Firewall and the free Microsoft antivirus software calles Microsoft Security Essentials, http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/Blogging about Windows for IT pros at www.theexperienceblog.com

Hi Carlos, you always get this crash: Bug Check 0x50: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559023%28VS.85%29.aspx Cause Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM). Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service. Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume. You have such NTFS issues: STACK_TEXT: nt!KeBugCheckEx nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+0x40e8b nt!KiPageFault+0x16e nt!memmove+0x250 nt!CcMapAndCopyInToCache+0x333 nt!CcCopyWrite+0x194 Ntfs!NtfsCopyWriteA+0x208 fltmgr!FltpPerformFastIoCall+0xf2 fltmgr!FltpPassThroughFastIo+0xda fltmgr!FltpFastIoWrite +0x1ce nt!NtWriteFile +0x5ad nt!KiSystemServiceCopyEnd+0x13 nt!KiServiceLinkage SRTSP64+0x3764a the driver was Symantec and the crash happens because of writing a file by the AVG scanner to the disk : PROCESS_NAME: avgcsrva.exe Image name: SRTSP64.SYS Timestamp: Fri Aug 21 08:54:07 2009 Your Symantec version is very old. so update the AntiVirus tool, please and remove AVG. NEVER use 2 or more AntiVirus tools side by side! Resolving a corrupted NTFS volume problem: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must restart the system before the disk scan begins on a system partition. best regards André"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
