Blocking USB ports?
I am trying to block all data transfer activity on USB ports, this includes USB storage sticks and also Mobile Devices such as PDAs. Blackberries, iPhones and Smartphones. I have tried the following KBA; http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823732 - however this only works for Mass Storage devices, and does not take into consideration Mobile Devices which can also be used as storage. Is there any way to also block all data transfer between a computer and Mobile device connected by USB? Many thanks, Ian McKeag1 person needs an answerI do too

hello, it's very simple.follow this steps- 1. restart your system, press Delete button then go to BIOS set up. 2. go to ADVANCE option. 3.USB CONFIGURATION option is there press ENTER. 4.there is USB PORT option, hey in your system this option is ENABLE. but you want to DISABLE your USB ports so choose DISABLE option.( USB PORTS = DISABLE ) then your all are USB port is DISABLED.then you do not use your USB ports. thanks purushottamaher.
