Black screen when logging into computer at startup
I did some check disk thing recently, or something where I needed to restart the computer. Well I restarted it, came back like 3 hours later. Found that I was at the screen to choose my username. chose it, entered password, tried to login, got black screen. I could do basic functions like windows key L to switch user. Or ctrl alt del, to access task manager, but could do nothing in it. I tried to reboot, same problems. Tried safe mode, and it works. I have windows 7 ultimate SP 1. Found this laptop in the dumpster with the original files still on it from the previous owner. When I opened it up, found it had no windows updates at all, so I got them all.
