I am using a geniune copy of Windows 7.Everything was working fine.i just turned off oy lappy and after 3 -4 hrs when i turned on it started doing some Startup Disk check!!! after which it got restart and then after login screen nothing appears (neither task bar ,start button ,desktop icons).I tried to start in safe mode but to vain i reached the same state of black screen in the safe mode too!!! i tried to restore it to some back date but to no use..i tried to repair my computer but that had no affect!!on choosing safe mode with CMD prompt Command prompt appears ...and i can use the dos sommands to use the lappy ..??? Does has anyone faced similar situation or does anyone has answer ...please help!!!!
