Black screen White blinking dash/cursor
Hello people,
Hopefully someone overhere can help me with the following problem:
Yesterday my notebook (HP 8530W) suddenly ended with a BSOD with the following (shortened) problem coding:
Memory_management
Technical infomation: 0x0000001A (0x000000031, 0x8A1ADBC8, 0x9434C000, 0x9B59C017)
After this screen I rebooted the notebook but after that I only getting a black screen with a white flashing dash.
I cannot do anything.
I can't get into Windows at all.
I can't open the boot menu using F8.
Because it was saying that it had to do something with the memory I already did all the BIOS build-in diagnostic tests from HP and later on I let Memtest86+ check the memory.
They all came back as ' PASSED' without any errors.
I basically can't remember installing any updates or programmes at the time the BSOD came on.
Already read numerous search links found with Google, but they all came back to Vista.
The machine came with Vista 32bit (i think) Enterprise and less than a year ago (within the grace period) I ordered an upgrade to Windows 7 32bit Professional.
At this point I'm ending all blank and basically haven't got a clue what to do anymore.
All questions/advice/answers are welcome!!
Cheers,
Sebastian.

Bug Check 0x1A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff557391%28VS.85%29.aspx
To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.
Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.
