About a month ago I started getting the black screen after login with explorer crashing - explorer.exe - application error - the application was unable to start correctly 0xc0000022 the same error with taskmgr This just happened out of the blue. Safe mode w/network boots up as expected and everything seems to work. A system restore does not resolve the problem. I did notice rdpclip.exe was missing when I looked at the startup files with autoruns. Adding it made no difference. Also tried safe boot to no avail. I've backed up anything worth saving and am ready to do a factory recovery unless someone has an idea This is an HP Pavilion dv7-4285dx laptop
