Hello, i have encrypted a partion of my harddrive using bitlocker. Caused by other reasons I had to reinstall Windows 7. After that the encrypted partion was empty and the bitlocker console stated this partition is not encrypted. Therefor I wanted to decrypt the partition using repair-bde. However, the result was not satisfying. The tool works well, the restore key is accepted and I do not receive any error -but: If the Outputvolume is another harddisk connected via USB I can not access the disk afte decryption. Windows tells me, the disk is not formated. Therefor the suggested chkdsk command does also not work. I tried to decrypt into an image file which also seems to work fine (no errors) but if I want to open or use the image file I still receive an error. Any suggestons, what I can do to decrypt my drive? Michael
