Bitlocker recovery key but no password?
I am wondering if it is possible to require the 256-bit recovery key and save it to AD DS, and at the same time NOT allow the 48-digit recovery password. It seems that if you enable saving recovery info to AD DS, you have to have a password allowed. I am trying to keep FIPS compliant and not use the recovery password, and at the same time save the FIPS compliant key into AD DS so we dont have to solely use the recovery agent option. But for whatever reason this doesnt seem possible. Any thoughts?
