Bitlocker question.
Ok. I know you can setup Bitlocker to ask for a PIN at startup, etc. for extra security. I use another encryption product that does not require any pre-Windows authentication, but will reboot the system and throw up its own security login screen after a specified number of failed login attempts to the Windows desktop. This is tofoil brute force attempts to login to Windows. Is there a similar configuration that can be implemented with TPM/Bitlocker? I would like TPM/Bitlocker to do something similar after, for example, 5 failed login attempts at the Windows login. Can't find anything addressing this, so I'm guessing there isn't anything like this available. Thanks.

Hi, Based on my known, Windows Vista only native support BitLocker Drive Encryption, and do not support Windows login Authentication. In fact, this appears to be a great idea for a future product enhancement. I'd recommend that you forward the recommendation to the Microsoft Wish Program: Microsoft offers several ways for you to send comments or suggestions about Microsoft products.
