Bitlocker and and To GO
Can a person take a USB drive home and use it to edit files when bitlocker encrypted or is it read-only? After files are edited on USB and brought back to work, can they be placed back onto computer? What if a file is worked on an encrypted drive then copied to a device to give to someone else, such as tax data? How does this work going back and forth between encrypted drive and letting another user take a file home that was encrypted? Do they ahve to know your password? Or can you unencrypt the file and let them take it home? Thanks

Hi KJMusicman, that based on which option in Bitlocker you choose on the USB drive. If you only use password to encrypt the drive on computer1, you can enter password and read/write the drive on computer2.
