After key in PIN it working and show me the file on my removable drive but only for read only, i cannot copy any data or file to my removable drive. This is not a bug this is normal behavoir.BitLocker To Go can be utilized on its own, without requiring that the system partition be protected with the traditional BitLocker feature. Finally, BitLocker To Go provides read-only support for removable devices on older versions of the Windows operating system, which allows users to more securely share files with those who are still running Windows Vista and Windows XP with the BitLocker To Go Reader.Source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd560691.aspxDoes this resolve your answer?Kind RegardsDFT IM me - TWiTTer: @DFTER

If like that then using removable drives purpose will crash up with bitlocker to go For Case example 1 : I encrypt the removable drive such as pendrive or call thumbdrive using Bitlocker To Go. Then copy some data from office notebook which i not bring back home because expected work from home PC. When i go home I update the data from Home PC then cannot save back to the removable drive that mean i cannot save in encrypted environment but force to save to another removable drives are not encrypted by bitlocker (Not secure) that mean the purpose of using Bitlocker also crash up. For Case example 2 : I need to carry 2 removable drive because 1 of the removable drive are encrypted using Bitlocker To Go. 1 Removable drive are unencrypted. Because sometimes need to copy data in and out or transfer some file from this notebook or PC to another location that what i thought is main objectives of using removable drives. Purpose of using bitlocker are also crash up because it cannot save back to encrypted removable drive forcing save to unencrypted removable drive that mean using or updating data from encrypted removable data when have any modification u forcing to save to another removable drive that is not secure. Then need to choose either Read only Removable drives or Unsecure data on Removable Drives..

Samtkt2000,Not completly true, i agree that in your case bitlocker to go is not an option. But "bitlocker to go" is not only the option to encrypt data on a removeable drive. In your cases you can use EFS (Encrypted File System) to encrypt your files or folders on removeable storage.Yes i agree it is a little more work (and complex)to configure it.But once you configured it works also quiet smoothly.P.S.: With this solution i asume that only use the stick for your own personal use.Kind RegardsDFT IM me - TWiTTer: @DFTER
