Hi Microsoft Admin Last Thursday I tried to use bitlocker on my drive E. C is my OS drive. Drive E is only for data and documents, which was why i was hoping I could lock it. When I ran bitlocker and start the encryption, it stopped on 25%. It didn't give me any option to cancel or else, it also frozen my laptop. So there was no any other way, I had to force restarted it. But it ruined everything .. I can not access my drive E, even using the recovery password. It's encrypted but not completely, corrupted. I've tried many things thene I found the way to decrypt Bitlocker drive using Bitlocker recovery tools, on scenarion 16. I recover my E to my External harddrive using this syntax : repair-bde E: I: -force -rp [recovery password] I am doing it now, it works .. but only til it reached 25% too, just like the encryption process before. Now it really really stop at 25%, been 1 hour like this. What should i do now ? I really need your help, because all of my project data and work documents are in that drive.. thank you

Is it still stuck at 25% or it made progress? If it is still stuck at 25% then it has encounter a bad block on the disk. That was the reason the bde never completed successfully at first place. you need to search a get a tool from internet which can mark bad block and after this repair-bde might work for you and you can access the data.Manoj Sehgal

Willy_Zeng my friend, shalli17here is already using bitlocker repair tool which is repair-bde command. Since it got stuck at 25% on I drive do you see any data?? you need to search a get a tool from internet which can mark bad block and after this repair-bde might work for you and you can access the data.Manoj Sehgal
