Bitlocker Decryption on System Drive
I'm aware of the use of the Bitlocker recovery tool to decrypt and recover data from a system drive that has become corrupted. My question is if you know the Bitlocker key can you mount a system disk using a USB adaptor as a 2nd drive and decrypt it from the control panel? Will Windows 7 allow you to mount a drive from antoher computer, right click on it, provide the Bitlocker key, and decrypt it? Or are you forced to use the recovery tool via command line?

If you have the USB key, you can mount the drive in another computer and decrypt it with the USB key. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
