Bitlocker Corrupting OS?

We bought about 2 dozen Lenovo Yoga computers to use throughout our office. We installed Bitlocker on them and that is where the troubles began. The computers will randomly, upon rebooting, ask for the bitlocker recovery key. After that is entered it will try to do a startup repair and then loop back to asking for the recovery key. The only fix once it gets into this loop is to image the computer. Once the computer is imaged it may be fine for a few weeks and then just take a dive or it might last for a month. Some of these computers have not done it at all and some of them do it every two weeks. It is not consistent with a particular update.

We are using Bitlocker Full Disk with a Password to unlock.

Any ideas why Bitlocker would randomly have problems that result in needing to format a machine. It only happens on these lenovos and we have about 230 computers of other various makes and models that are just fine bitlockered.

Could it be the hybrid drives?

I only have one yoga 2 11. It is using win8.1 and bitlocker with pw protector like you. The hard drive has been exchanged right from the start for an ssd. It never did this until now.

I have no idea why a hybrid drive should cause problems. Could it be that Lenovo has some software component preinstalled that tries to update the BIOS/the firmware automatically? Because doing such an upgrade without first suspending bitlocker would result in requesting the recovery key. We uninstalled a lot of the Lenovo stuff.
