Bitlocker : Startup key on a PIN-protected USB drive
Hi, I got a question : Is it possible to store the startup key on a PIN protected USB flash drive in the scenario "2-FACTOR TPM + startup key" ? The final goal is to see if storing it on a crypto usb token (aka smart-token) can be achieved in order to provide a full integrated crypto-token that also allows smart-logon in Windows. I know this scenario is not possible with a smart-card but I don't know if it is linked to issues accessing PCMCIA card reader during boot or to others limited functionalities. Thanks for your feedback. JF

Hi, Biocryptodisk iSecurePro is able to secure the startup key and together with its USB end point solution, your bitlocker is totally secure. Pls see www.biocryptodisk.com/BSS.html for more information. The video clips show all. The USB end point solution is to prevent anybody to duplicate the start up key when you are not present. 88
