BitLocker on system drive - unable to boot without prior shut off power for a few seconds.
Hello. My computer doesn't have compatibility of smartcard, so I have to use usb flash drive to store bitlocker keys on it. Sometimes (and I stress on sometimes) bitlocker doesn't accept the keys from flash drive until I completely unplug computer's power cord and wait a few seconds. After that it boots up just fine. What is the cause of this nonsense and how to stop it? Thank you.

Vanown, Can you try to store the encryption key on a other USB Flash Drive (from an other vendor). And see if you can reproduce the problem? And are in the windows eventviewer some specific bitlocker errors? Kind Regards DFTIM me - TWiTTer: @DFTER

Yes, I can reproduce this regardless of what kind of flash drive I use. Just now I had this nonsense happened again after system froze cased by nvidia graphic card overload (was using stress test). The windows event viewer could not have anything regarding this, because it happens before window is loaded, in fact it happens before the boot menu showed. Also, when this happens it's trying read something from floppy drive, then it shows the error message. The boot priority is set to: 1. HDD 2. Floppy 3. CDROM A buddy of mine has exact same issue, and we both have similar system setup (motherboard nVidia 680i SLI, QX6700 CPU)
