BitLocker and Vista Help
Hello all. I am in a bit of trouble here. I was having some problems with sleep mode and pretty much tried everything I could find on the web to fix it but couldn't. So I ended up upgrading my BIOS. I have a toshiba M5 laptop. BIOS version was 3.5 and upgraded to 3.7. the problem is that I forgot to disable bitlocker before I upgraded the BIOS. when I turned the computer back on, bitlocker asked me for my password as I have TPM turned on, so I put that in, but then it prompted me to enter the keys after that because it detected changes in thebios. The problem is that I don't have these keys. I saved them somewhere, but I can't find them anymore. Could somebody advise me on what to do?Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Avamak, thanks for the post. Based on my experience, I suggest you contacting computer manufacturer and see if they can help to revert BIOS back to the previous version. Otherwise, I consider we cannot bypass BitLocker and thepasswordto log on the system.Sean Zhu - MSFT
