BitLocker To Go support for centralized desktop scenarios?
Hello all, Here is an interesting question: is BitLocker To Go supported in centralized desktop scenarios where end-users connect via zero or thin clients to a hosted desktop? I only managed to find one post where someone explained the problems they experienced with VMware View at a customer site. They however also stated that BitLocker To Go seemed to work fine in a Lab environment via both VMware View and RDS. I am wondering if there are supported scenarios? And if there are any differences in support between using Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop via ICA protocol or RDS via RDP in terms of BitLocker To Go? If supported what are the requirements regarding a thin client in order to get BitLocker To Go to up and running? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, WinTPC (Windows® Thin PC) disk drives and flash storage can be encrypted using BitLocker and Bitlocker To GoTM technology, thereby ensuring that any data stored on disk is secure. But depends on the version of the "hosted desktop". The hosted desktop must be Enterprise or Ultimate.
