BitLocker AD Backup Issue
Simple question but I cannot find the solution. I have 3 domain controllers, one is Windows 2008 R2 and two are Windows 2008. The forest functional level is Windows 2000 and the domain functional level is Windows 2003. These will be changed after a couple of system upgrades still stuck with this dependency however the AD schema has been successfully extended for BitLocker Backup in AD and a GPO is in place at the domain level to execute this on applicable systems. Windows Vista Enterprise clients are doing this successfully free of flaws however Windows 7 clients are showing a successful backup to AD in the event log on the workstation however no keys, passwords, etc. are being displayed in Active Directory. We followed the TN article to the letter to make sure AD was properly prepared for this. Obviously the schema was extended for us to be able to see the successful backups. Viewing is being done with the same enterprise admin account. What gives? Dave
