BitLocker
Hi all,
i was wondering if my thinking is ok about enabling BitLocker.
When enabling BitLocker for the OS drive and also fixed and removable drives, how is the process working?
OS drive requires a PIN code. Once the PIN is entered, the decrypt key will be read from the TPM chip, and the OS will load. But when will fixed drives be decrypted? I have tested BitLocker in my own Windows 7 system. I can choose to set the D drive so that
it will automatically unlock when my system is starting. I dont want to enter another password for my D drive.
So when i choose to auto unlock, how will the process be for my fixed drive?
Thanks for the reply.
