Bios Update Please Read (Thank You)
I have previously had Windows Vista 64bit on my HP Pavilion dv4-1125nr it came loaded with F.22 Bios Version and I updated to F.24. When I updated to F.24 in Windows Vista when the Bios Flash Update was complete the notebook then restarted automatically. Then Windows 7 came along=] and I restored my notebook to factory condition using the HP Recovery. By me recovering my notebook it brought my Bios back down to F.22. I then upgraded from Vista 64bit to Windows 7 64bit. When I updated my Bios in Windows7 and the flash was complete my notebook didn't restart it just shutdown. I thought my computer was*** up lol.But then I started it up and it was all good showing I got the latest Bios. I also performed the Bios Flash Update again and same thing it wouldn't restart it just shutdown. Is that because I gotWindows 7 and it doesn't know to restart or something. Or does my computer have serious problem now lol.....

Not positive, but I think itis just an issue of not fully recognizing the under the hood changes to Win 7 and therefore, some things may not 'act right' when drivers and updates see 7.
