Bing.com image search
When you click on an image on bing.com image search you go onto a another page that shows the webpage whilst still in the bing domain. Is there a threat of getting a virus on this page from the website that is shown? thanks1 person needs an answerI do too

You bet. Lots of webpages have what is called "drive-by downloads" in which they put usually spyware and Trojan horses (and not viruses [usually]). I would recommend using Google, which has more blocked pages in my opinion than Microsoft, so it is safer, although Google likes to monitor what you're searching. I also recommend installing another web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, which are safer than Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer was the whole reason anti-virus software was invented!!! Also try installing an add-on like McAfee SiteAdvisor or Web of Trust (WOT), which run as tiny toolbars in the browser and warn you of dangerous or disreputable sites. The most commonly infected sites include virus and hacking websites, freeware sites, and sleazy ____ sites.
