hi i locked my seagate freeagent desktop 1TB with bithlocker a week ago. i had a problem with my windows and i had to change it. after changing my windows i can't open it any more i do remember my password but the bit locker doesn't request the password it want recovery key since i change my windows i don't have my recover key (i stored it in my documents and i formatted my windows drive to install an other i got it back with recover but what is inside the text file can't be read) but i can remember my password how can i open my device? my windows is 7 ultimate and it was 7 ultimate when i decided to change it please help me every thing i have is in that HDD <abbr title="2010-04-19 22:20:00" />

Check to see if there'a a 300MB partition created on your hard drive with the key.
