Belkin F5D8055 V2 unable to connect to wireless network automatically after reboot
Hello, I bought a Belkin F5D8055 V2 USB Network adapter for my desktop PC, and have been very successful with it except for one very irritating problem. When I reboot my computer, the wireless adapter is unable to connect to my network automatically. When I choose my network and hit connect manually, after about 10 seconds Windows tells me it was unable to connect to the network, but then I hit cancel, and check, and the network connection still shows connecting, then after a few more seconds, it will connect. I can not figure out what the reason is that Windows is giving up on the connection so quickly, nor can I figure out why it is not able to connect automatically after reboot. Everything about this adapter is excellent except for this one major headache. I am using just the driver, no network software, so this is the built-in network manager. I have read many reviews and comments from other users who have this same product, and nobody is complaining about an issue like this, so I am thinking this may be something I can correct in Windows. I am running 64-bit if that makes any difference. Anyone have any ideas on where I can start looking, or encountered anything similar? TIA!

Is there any other network adapters installed? Please update the network adapter driver to the latest version and see if the issue can be resolved. You can download it from BELKIN's website. If the issue persists, you can test the issue with another wireless network adapter and see if the issue occurs. If the issue persists, please disable the firewall and then access Clean Boot to check the issue. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
