Battlefield: Bad Company 2 reveals an underlying problem...
Heya fellas, computer noob here. So I bought Bc2 this weekend, and was sad to find out it would crash my computer UNLESS I launched the game, then CTR ALT DEL-ed to Processes, and set the Affinity to CPU 1, instead of CPU 1 and CPU 2. Is there someway I can enable both? Via a patch from Mircrosoft?BAIAddendumI don't believe this to be a flaw in the game, I think it's the OS.

Best to post this in a user forum for the game. Some games have tech support forums also. Plugging "Battlefield Bad Company 2" into Google got me this one: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/categories/show/31.pageMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Sounds like a potential thread synchronization bug in the game, or some other component (AV software) that happens to be running in the address space of the game's process. A crash dump could shed more light on the details, but as Malkeleah suggested you are likely best off going to a game-specific forum for this type of problem.
