Hello, Long story short, my ethernet/LAN port stopped recognizing the ethernet cables so I looked for help from my computer manufacturer, Samsung. After installing a LAN driver sent to me from the Samsung rep, it still did not work, so he recommended me to do a basic restore (to a previous working condition). However, after the restoration, bigger problems arose, as most of the programs on my system now appear to be only partially loaded or have missing text. See the picture attached for a bigger understanding. If anyone can give any suggestions for this thanks in advance. As you can see text is missing from task manager and Google Chrome.

Hi, Please check whether there is a restore point before this one. If so, you can try to restore it use the previous point to check the result. If this is the only one, I suggest you use the System File Checker tool to scan the system files. Hope this helps Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
