Baldness problem
Now that I've pulled all my hair out trying various suggestions after reading every help file I could lay my hands on I'm resorting to a new post.I've managed to setup my network between a desktop running Xp and a laptop running vista. The laptop is hard wired through my hub and the laptop wirelessly. My desktop can see the laptop and connect sucessfully and view files etc. So I've done what I thought would be the hard bit.Now the problem is when I want to see the desktop from the laptop.I can see the desktop in the network window, but when I attempt to connect I get the dreaded\\mike is not accessible. You might not have permission ad to contact the admin etc etc.I believe I've set up the shared folder correctly on the desktop, but still can not connect. It's probably something very very stupid I've not done, but I've spent so long looking now that I can't even see the trees let alone the wood. LOL.Any help appreciated.Mike
