I have a backup schedule configured, which I believe was created through the action centre. However, I since disabled it.Now I want to configure it again. However whenever I visit the Backup and Restore page - I am presented with 'Turn on schedule' and 'Change settings' as links but when I click on them, nothing appears on screen. I hear some very brief disk activity, but nothing on screen and no dialogs.For that matter, 'Select another backup to restore from' also goes nowhere. But 'Recover system settings...' DOES work. I note that the links that don't work have the UAC/ admin sheild icon by them. I have UAC switched off.I had a look on Google and found just one article of someone who had this problem in Vista, but no resolution.Any ideas anyone?Thanks,

I'm having the exact same problem, and can't find the answer anywhere. Don't know if it's connected in anyway but I've had problems with Task Scheduler running properly, one of the tasks I had to remove to get it working again was WindowsBackupMonitor. run Task Scheduler and see if it works properly, if it doesn't then it may appear we have the same problem. Would be nice to find a fix
