Please download memtest86+ [1], burn a new bootable CD (use a CD-RW if possible) from the ISO (download and use ImgBurn [2][3] to do this or make double click on the ISO in Windows 7), reboot your PC and scan your RAM 4-5hours for errors. If it detects errors, replace the faulty RAM. If the memtest tells no error, please download CPU-Z [4], look in the memory and SPD tab and verify that the current RAM Speed and the Timings match to the values that you see in the SPD tab. If your RAM run at CR (Command Rate) 1T, change the value into 2T in the BIOS. This should fix the crashes. Hi i did the memtest thing and it said no errors after 5 hours of scanning, but i didnt completely understand what you meant about the 1T/2T thing in the bios. i looked at the spd tab and i have ddr3 RAMS at 2048 which adds up to 4096 ram. counld you explain what you meant further indepth about the second part again? thank you

Look into the BIOS and look for the Command Rate settings. This should be set to 2 and not to 1. 1 is faster but causes crashes if the RAM doesn't support it.
