See my initial post: System BIOS updated Drive firmware updated to 340 I guess what I'm looking for is a way to drill down and find out what is causing the problem. A memory dump would be the bee's knees but I don't know of anyway to get one. Can I move the pagefile to another drive to catch the memory dump?

Can I move the pagefile to another drive to catch the memory dump? sorry, clicked on the wrong button. yes, you can move the pagefile to D:\. Try to get the dumps, so that I can look at the cause."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

No Dice, I guess USB isn't ready early enough for use as a pagefile device. Any other way to get some info from this thing?

I checked things out by forcing a system crash with <ctrl> + <scroll>. The system does create a dump on C: in this case, I didn't think it wouldn't. My best guess is that my SSD isn't ready for anything when coming out of sleep, which causes the BSOD and why the dumps have nowhere to go. This is speculation at best. For what it's worth, one thing I'm keeping in mind is that this was happening before and after installing the AHCI drivers from intel.
