BSOD GENIUNE MIX UP?
I have had 4 BSOD today and a popup every 30 minutes for my beta not being "genuine" today. This is the first time I have ever seen this before. I participated in the WDK Beta Program from connect and received a link to download windows 7 ultimate 7100 and a license for it. My key is genuine. I didn't go on some torrent site and download a botnet ridden iso. I don't understand why I am getting this. I tried to even phone the key in, and after an hour they told me they don't offer support for this over the phone (although they did try to validate it twice--automated and humanized) I can't afford to buy windows 7 right now, and I definitely can't go back without loosing everything. I see from my connect page "The WDK Beta Program is not the same program as the Windows 7 Beta Program, which is providing participants with a copy of Windows 7." which I do not understand, because people who participated in that beta received a free copy of windows 7. I however did not. I gave dozens of error and feedback reports and, like others, went through crazy amounts of insane errors and compatibility issues. MY EMAIL on the other hand (I love how I never delete anything with gmail) states: msftconn@microsoft.com to me Dear WDK/WLK User: I would like to invite you to join the WDK Beta program for Windows 7. The PC Ecosystem Connect site will provide you with Windows 7 beta downloads of: The WDK Free and Checked Builds of the OS I am cutting this really short and without proof-reading it before I get cut off and have to retype it all again. Please help me as soon as possible. more information at your request. PS i have tried getting another key through the connect site, and it also says it's not valid. winver.exe says until 3/1/2010 5:59 PM Sir?

Hi Cameron, According to your reply, this issue can occur if the hardware has been changed or if the license file has been modified by a third party program. It is stongly recommended to perform a full computer scan to check that there is no virus or malware running on your computer. In addition, since you cannot even activated your Windows 7 via Phone Activation Center, it may be that the licensing components on the computer are corrupted. At this time, lets try the following steps to reinstall licensing components and generate a new tokens.dat file in an Administrator command prompt: net stop sppsvc Cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform Ren tokens.dat tokens.old cd %windir%\system32 net start sppsvc slmgr.vbs rilc When finished with these steps, re-try the activation. After that, if the issue persist, please upload the Small Dump Memory to SkyDrive and provide us the link for analyzing so that the person visit the forum can help you check the root cause of the issue. Small Dump Memory =============== 1. Click "Start", Input "SYSDM.CPL" in Research Bar(without quotation marks) and press Enter. 2.
