Please post a copy of your dumpfile as a shared file to your Sky Drive with a link here. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02db-4665-993a-08d865088d65 For advice on how to configure your system to create dump files please read: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649 The dumpfile will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.Hope this helps, Gerry

I've had an ongoing issue for the past yea--actally since I built the machine--with daily crashes. It seems to happen after being idle for an hour or so. I've never had the computer crash while I'm working on it...even if I'm on it all day. However, if it's been idle for a couple hours...or even it goes int sleep mode, the machine crashes and reboots. Here's the error: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xfffff900c7e867a0, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff960007ddc51, 0x0000000000000000). vertume, sorry to hear about your issue here, there a few things that come to my mind right off the bat with this issue without having all the information yet. there are many cases where the actual screen saver and/or hibernate/sleep mode settings can cause a crash like this. do you have a custom screen saver set up on this pc? also, which operating system are you running? 32 bit or 64 bit? if you could upload your dump file to a public location somewhere, i would be glad to take a look at it for you and comb through it.Ross Kotter Systems Administrator Microsoft Certified **************************************************************** Was This Post Helpful? vertume, glad to hear you made some headway here. try this for me, run a memory check on that pc, heres a good tool to use... http://www.memtest.org/. run it at least 3 times as just one pass at your memory will not be conclusive. see what you get from the results. i see you have 2 memory modules, try reseating them in another slot if you could and see what all that does for you. regards,Ross Kotter Systems Administrator Microsoft Certified **************************************************************** Was This Post Helpful? Thanks Ross. No, not custom screen saver, After months of frustration I did a clean install last weekend and have what I think is a clean install and vanilla configuration...without much additional software installed. I used updated drivers on everything...I thought I had it nailed when I found thee was a firmware update to my SSD (Crucial M4) but that didn't solve it either. It' probably something with my hardware. Other than the Crucial SSD,here's the hardware I have: SKU DESCRIPTION QUANTITY PRICE PER TOTAL 243360 600W StealthXStream Power Supply 1 $29.99 $29.99 200121 Core i5 2500K LGA 1155 Boxed Processor 1 $179.99 $179.99 525667 GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Z68 ATX Intel Motherboard 1 $119.99 $119.99 490227 Ballistix Sport Series 8GB DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) CL10 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules) 1 $54.99 $54.99 490243 m4 CT064M4SSD2 64GB SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) with Marvell Controller 1 $92.99 $92.99 I've uploaded to dump file to my SkyDrive folder here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=ce776ada41a028f1&resid=CE776ADA41A028F1!5100&parid=CE776ADA41A028F1!114. Vertume Type System Information in the Search Box above Start Button and press the ENTER key. What is your BIOS and version? Do you have a spare hard drive? It could require a bit of time but do you see the same problem using a conventional hard drive rather your SSD drive? It might help to eliminate hardware components. Hope this helps, Gerry
