BSOD 0x8000000000000002 Both on idle and while in use
Hi there, We are running a custom built system at our church. I have trying to troubleshoot the Kernel Power errors, but I've reached the end of my rope. I have provided a link to the exported events from Computer Management: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=A39F0598CC83C035!167 Any help in resolving this will definitely help the service run smoother (BSOD during the church service isn't the best situation) Thanks in advance for everyone's time!

This number is a miracle. Never seen something like this. Upload minidump file for analysis, unless you do it yourself. Regards Milos

Quite the collection of Event ID 41. If it is a laptop have you checked the temps? We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible. If you are overclocking STOP You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking. Please follow these instructions to collect data from the crashes and upload them here, to your Skydrive or a file sharing service like Rapidshare. http://www.sysnative.com/forums/showthread.php/68-Blue-Screen-of-Death-%28BSOD%29-Posting-Instructions-Windows-8-7-amp-Vista?p=303&viewfull=1#post303 http://sysnative.com/0x8/BSOD_Windows7_Vista_v2.64_jcgriff2_.exe To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure: * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine. * Zip up the contents of that folder Please upload them to skydrive or a file sharing service and put a link to them in your next post. Please also go to start>search/run>cmd>msinfo32 and include it in the upload To ensure minidumps are enabled: * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter. * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button. * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked. * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies). * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump. * OK your way out. * Reboot if changes have been made. http://www.sysnative.com/forums/showthread.php/325-BSODs-but-no-Dump-Files http://www.osronline.com/article.cfm?article=545 Please also go to start>run>msinfo32 and save the results. Upload it with the DMP files, thanks. MS-MVP 2010, 2011, 2012 Sysnative.com Team ZigZag

Hi, Thanks for posting here. However, we need the dump files for further research. Please upload collected files to SkyDrive. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02db-4665-993a-08d865088d65 Looking forward to your response. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support

I checked the minidump folder and it was empty? I went in and set the Minidump settings according to the specs above. Now I am just waiting on a crash. In the meantime, here is the system information. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=A39F0598CC83C035!168

Hi, Regarding the this error message, you can refer toKernel Power Event 41 andDescription of Windows Kernel event ID 41 error in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first". Also try to update the BIOS, drivers to latest version and test the issue inSafe Mode. Hope this helps As mention Jeremy please follow links and upload the dump file. ThanksMohammed Imtiyaz Ali

https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=A39F0598CC83C035!169 Didn't take long this morning to achieve a minidump. For clarification: We have run an extended memory test. The system is on a battery backup. And this has happened both while idle and while running various programs. We just now checked the bios, and it has been updated to the latest and greatest version. Thank you!
