I am running Win7 (basic home version) on a 64-bit machine. I was browsing the internet for x64 Assembly stuff (IE9), and suddenly my screen went black, flickered, then came up with a mini-BSOD that was only like 800px wide. Also of note was how blank it was - it contained 3 lines of text, but flashed too quickly for me to read it. Then my computer restarted itself, and came up with System Repair. I've tried system repair a few times, two system restores, a memory and two hard disk diagnostics (in BIOS), starting in "Last known good config" as well as "Safe Mode" and "Safe Mode /w Networking". System Repair keeps saying something to the tune of "Windows Cannot Automatically Repair this", and comes up with an HP Help screen in low-res (how I got to system restore). I didn't download anything (intentionally, at least), and was actually browsing an article in Microsoft's site. No recent installs, etc. The only thing I had open at the time was IE9, and I had only been running some Adobe programs (much earlier today). Any thoughts? I'm really hoping I can get by without reinstalling everything.... Thanks!
