BHOLD Suite Installation: Access to BHOLD is refused for the following reason(s): -

Hello everyone

I'm performing the BHOLD Access Management Connector Test Lab Guide.

At Step 7 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj853093(v=ws.10).aspx) I tried to access the BHOLD Core page by accessing http://FIM1:5151/BHOLD/Core

Unfortunately, it throws me an error:

Access to BHOLD is refused for the following reason(s):

-

But there isn't even stated any reason! What could be the reason?

Any help'd be appreciated.

Thank you!

What just crossed my mind: Would it be possible that it fails because the Synch. Service is not updated to SP1? At step 5, instructions are as follows:

  1. Navigate to the folder that contains the SP1 upgrade files for FIM 2010 R2 SP1 and double-click Synchronization Service.msi

  2. On the welcome page, click Update.

But when clicking on my installation file, it say's install instead of update. I guess, because it's the same version as already is installed.

So if the BHOLD fails because of this, how would I be able to get the SP1 Upgrade files? Or how can I check, if it's SP1 already? When starting the Synch Service, I can see that the current version is 4.1.3419.0/FIM 2010 R2 (no SP1 is written) on the about page.

Thanks for any help.

I also checked similar topics* and can assure that:

  • B1Service is running
  • FIM Service & FIM Synch. Service are both running
  • b1user is member of BHOLDApplicationGroup
  • b1user is member of IIS_IUSRS (on dc1)

I also checked the event log and recognized the following recurring error:

Source Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Message Could not find stored procedure 'bbGetServiceStopRequests'

Any Ideas about that? :S

Ronin,

A couple of things..........

-I believe the IIS_IUSRS group memebership requirement is for the server on which you are installing the BHOLD core, not necessarily the DC, unless it is the DC that you are installing BHOLD on

-Check for this stored proc in SQL, does it exist?
