Available hard drive space of network share is wrong
i have a Windows 7 Ultimate x86 RC running with device manager all happy on an Intel desktop motherboard.all machines are joined to the same domain and the Windows 7 box is activated. My main workstation is a Vista Ultimate x86 machine that has a Raid5 array made up of 4x1.5TB Seagate drives for a total of about 4.1TB of storage in addtion of the system drive that sits on a Seagate 500GB drive. This Raid5array has about 497GB of space still available. I tried to copy two VHD files, both totalling about 70GB to the vista box from the windows 7 box and i get an error stating that there is not enough room on the destination drive.the error notification asks that an additional 29GB be freed up in order for the copy to proceed.these 2 files can be transferred individually without a problem. but when both are selected and dragged over to the network share the "not enough space available" error comes up. when the combined move is over about 32GB then the error is returned.is Windows 7 having difficulty recognizing the 4.1TB drive? any insight as to what may be going on here would be welcome!Ted S.
