Automatically Initiating Video Conference Call

We are deploying in our environment a device that will be able to be programmed to run macros or scripts from a conference computer. We want to be able to press one button on this device and connect us to a specific contact in our Lync contact list. This other contact will be another division of ours. There would be different buttons depending on who we want to video conference. How would I go about creating a Macro or script that when opened will automatically initiate a video conference call with the party with whom I choose to video conference?

Thank you for your help

I am not sure you can automatically enable a video call natively. Certainly you can do IM (sip:user@domain.com) or even voice (tel:+1234567890). Best bet would be to see if the Lync Client SDK can help out?

This is the 2010 walkthrough, but should be similar to 2013 https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/hh378544%28v=office.14%29.aspx

Georg,

Thank you so much for your help.
