Even though autocorrect is disabled in Power Point, words are replaced - incorrectly so - compelling me to return and re-correct the error inserted by Office.

I wright in both French and English but choose my display as English.

Would it be possible to have some information as to what can be done to correct this aggravating situation?

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? According to your description, I suppose that you have checked the "Replace text as you type" Option. Please go to the following path and uncheck it.

Path: File|Option|Proofing|Autocorrect|Match Autocorrect tab
