Hi All.....I don't usually keep my Windows updat on automatic, but somehow recently it got set to Automatic....so last night when I shut down it decided to hit me with 10 new updates....so, since I haven't had any trouble with them lately I let it go on and do it's thing.......now, when I try to send an email, the email goes to the outbox and never sends and I get an error message and the message stays in the outbox.....I hit send and receive and it will then send it but it keeps it in the outbox and if I leave it, it continues to send the same message over and over about 1 minute apart. Only deleting the message from the outbox restores sanity. The sent message never makes it to my SENT box. I did the usuals, deleted the Trash box, emptied my SENT box, minimized my IN box...all to no help. THEN, I did a system restore to BEFORE that last "update" and all returned to normal.....I'm not sure which one or more of the "updates" did the job on me, but one of them sure did because I went through the whole process again and got the same results.......for now, I do not accept automatic updates and will not until someone can tell me this problem is fixed......and of course, I have no interest in going to Vista or WIN7 at all.Vaya con Dios,Chuck, CABGx3 1 person needs an answerI do too
