There is a "show taskbar" shortcut, namely, WIN + T where WIN denotes the key with a flag on the key. You can choose to hide the taskbar and then only show the taskbar when desired. This is my personal preference. To hide the taskbar: Right-click on an empty spot on taskbar, Choose PROPERTIES On the TASKBAR tab checkmark "Autohide the taskbar" checkmark checkmark "Lock the taskbar" if you desire such OK button Now to show the taskbar, WIN + T Related shortcuts are: WIN + D switch to Desktop WIN + Spacebar Peek at desktop

Certainly is a viable solution but there are times that I want to have taskbar in autohide and sometimes no. I often work with the mouse and preferred to have a shortcut in desktop to be faster. thank you anyway someone knows a way to have a shortcut?

Hi, According the issue, the choice ---- "Autohide the taskbar" is the fastest way to do that . Also some third-party software may achieve the same function, but not support by Microsoft. Thanks for your understanding
