Authenticated Users Group Removal on Stand Alone Machine
Hello, Somehow the authenticated users group was put on my machine and now I am locked out of most of my files. I do not want nor need this security group on my machine. I tried to delete it and got all sorts of warnings about altering root directory settings and a host of problems that it would cause. So I then did a system restore and it was still there. Under my personal setting it has removed my "Full Acess" setting as well as in my administrator permissions. How can I remove and restore my settings without screwing up my machine?

1. Recover from full backup. 2. Try to wake up the hidden admin accout net user Administrator /active:yes 3. If you are able to set and start scheduled task, you can recover permissions with wiindows explorer started with SYSTEM rights and in interactive mode. Regards Milos
