I have Lync 2010 installed and after running Lync Meeting and using Lync audio (which works fine) other programs' audio is affected. For example if I use my headphones for Lync meeting with audio then when I go to say Spotify it only plays audio from the main laptop speakers and will not play from headphones. If I close Lync then it will use headphones. This will work until my next Lync meeting then the same issue. This is the case for all other programs with audio on my laptop.

Please set your headphones as default device on sound setting to see if the audio plays on headphones. Please also check Audio Device on Lync option settings.
