Audio device not found in Lync 2013

Hello!

I'm having a lot of troubles to get the LifeCam VX-2000 audio working with Lync 2013. Video works well from first time.

I have done everything is explained in this forum, deleting rest of drivers that could interfere  and checking power options of USB, but still no luck at all.

This is what I have in the remote computer. Do you see something that should be removed?

Hi,

Please test the LifeCam VX-2000 with other software, check if it works with other software on the same computer.

Please update the latest driver of LifeCam VX-2000, update Lync 2013 client to the latest version to have a test again.

Hi,

LifeCam VX-2000 microphone is not working with Skype either.

I have installed all updates, including SP1 for Office 2013 and drivers for LifeCam.

One more issue, in another computer which was working fine the audio with Lync, I installed windows updates and after restart audio of LifeCam wasn't working.

Do you have a list of Services which could interfer with the microphone?

Hi,

It seems to be the issue of Windows updates.

You can try to delete issued Windows updates in your computer which found from another computer, and then test again.

Actually my problem was I was connecting via RDP...
