Hi KiwiWil,this is a Windows 7 forum, I will move your post to the right location.Do you know the brand of your NIC? (Intel, broadcom, netgear etc) find it out and download it from the manufacturer web siteTo be honest I am suprised that Vista could not recegnise your drivers but if you fallow my suggetion you should be able to get the drivers.Using live search will also help you to find the driversregardsErdal

Hi, Thank you for your posts. Based on my research, I will suggest the following: 1. Check the device driver =============== 1) Click Start, right click Computer and choose Properties. 2) Click Device Manager. 3) Navigate to your NIC. 4) Right click on it and choose Uninstall, click OK and reboot the computer. 5) After the computer started, please check if it works. If not, please go to Device Manager and right-click on the mouse and choose Update the driver software. 6) Please choose Properties of the mouse and go to the Driver tab, if the Roll Back Driver is clickable, please click it to see if it helps. 2. Please go to Atheros and Asus site and check for the driver for the NIC. (If you want, please let me know the exact brand and model of the device, and we may help you check the manufacturers website.) Considering that the issue should be related to the hardware, I would like to recommend that you also contact Atheros and Asus for technical support: Atheros Support: http://www.atheros.com/contact/index.html Asus Support: http://support.asus.com/default.aspx?SLanguage=en-us Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
