Hello,I've looked all over the place for the drivers for this. Even tried the windows vista 64 bit drivers i have on a cd and it won't install the drivers. Was wondering if anyone knew a place i could get these drivers.Thanks,Josh

Good Morning Josh (SuperNintendo),These drivers should be capable of successfully installing on your computer. Especially if if this worked successfully in Vista. What you can do is find the Drivers online at the manufacturers website. Download them and save them on your computer. Once that has been completed, right click on the executable that was downloaded and go to properties. In the properties, locate the "Compatibility Tab". Check, run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista as the OS. Once completed, click Apply and OK. The right click on the .exe file and "Run as Administrator" and follow the process. You might have to go to the Device Manager to update the network drivers on that adapter. Be sure to specify the location of the Compatibility drivers that were downloaded. Hello superinintendo!I just got my wirleless abit air-pacewi-fi card to work. I would load the drivers supplied by ABITand the win7system would crash! Bsod and reboot. Turns out the drivers needed were actually atheros ar5006. Abit site had azure ware driver andthey would not work. Appears the early ship abit air-pace used the atheros ar5006 chipset and the later use another chipset. Thus the latest drivers would not work, but crash my system.No where on the Abit support site did it mentioned the chipset change!!Once I figured out by looking at the drivers on my xp system that worked I noticed they were AW5006.. Totaly differentthan what Abit had!I Googled atheros andIFound a site in CZ (http://www.atheros.cz/). They had a list of atheros drivers and once I got them down loaded and installed,my wireless worked! I did have to force windows7 to use them . The warning came up saying this did not match or something like that.Hope this helps ..Loving win7...

I have a similar issue. My laptop is 2 months old: Compaq CQ60-210US with built it wireless. Came with Vista Premium. Everything worked. I upgraded it with 32bit Win 7. Most things worked. The Wireless light would stay yellow indicating there was NOT a wireless connection, but I could connect using IE. There are posts on this site saying to download the XP, not the Vista drivers from HP and install those to fix the light issue. The wireless card is Atheros AR5007EG. When I go to the HP website for this model, there are Vista wireless drivers listed but none for XP. The original driver used was a Microsoft driver. It worked other than the light issue. The HP site lists the drivers as Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers for Vista. I downloaded these and tried to install them. Nothing ever happened. This is a single .exe file. When I tried to install and double clicked, it just goes off into space. Never comes back and says the drivers are installed. Now the networking is down and I can't get it back up. Went to uninstall programs in Control Panel and tried to uninstall everything dealing with wireless. When the system reboots it reinstalls the "latest" drivers, but still doesn't work. Tried to install using the compatibility options listed above. Same thing. Never installs. Tried to install by updating the driver and manually pointing the update to the Vista driver .inf file. Same thing. HP Wireless Assistant asks what wireless router I'm using [Netopia 3347] and tells me that router is not supported. Went to Device Manager and uninstalled all network adapters. Same thing. On reboot, installs the latest drivers and will not connect to my wireless router. The HP site appears not to contain any Atheros drivers, only Broadcom. When I try to find my network, I get my neighbors listed but nothing that is my network. I don't broadcast the ssid. I updated the auto connect list with my network name. Nothing. Can't find it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oddly enough, I just had a flash while writing this. The wireless light on the laptop is actually a switch. You can turn the wireless off on a plane by just pressing the light button. I never considered it might be in an off position because it always shows yellow. I pushed it and the HP Assistant came up and said the wireless was on. I can now connect to the net. Yeah! But the light issue still remains, which was the original problem. Its still yellow when the network is active, and should be blue. Still asking for any insight into the whole broadcom/Atheros which driver to use to get this to work right issue. Thanks.

But if I click download, it just take me to the same page without the download link. If I click on the 32-bit INF file it goes to a page listing contents of what I believe to be the inf file. What am I missing this is driving me crazy. I keep seeing posts about downloading the drivers from there but for the life of me I can't see how??

Do what you have done but WAIT for 10 seconds for it to pop up the download. Silly I know. If you get it working will you let me know - I can't after all that. Win7 won't let me install the driver manually. It says it cannot find the driver software required. EDIT: I got it working with the XP drivers (this is under win7)

I"m a computer/network tech and I can't believe I must have never waited long enough for it to pop up, I assumed when I saw that the page was done and it wasn't going to download anything. I did what you said and it finally popped up after about 10-15 secs. Thanks for your help.

Good clean sources not people trying to send us rogue software. Glad to help...

Best Answer!!! Thank you. You directed me to the simplest of solutions and eliminated my fear of sites that might give me more than I was looking for in a negative way. I used the Toshiba address and it had listings for Vista as well as other OSes. I uninstalled the driver from Acer for the Atheros AR5700EG that I downloaded for my Aspire 4520 and reinstalled the driver from Toshiba. I restarted my laptop - the problem was solved. Why was your lead so, so hard to find? There are a lot of solutions that haven´t worked until your´s. The problem seems to be that some versions of the driver don`t work with N wireless routers. When I installed my Belkin wireless G USB Network Adapter I was able to communicate fully with the Netgear N wireless router I was using. With the wireless G success, I tried your solution afterwards. I´ve added what additional information I could to help others - my first time posting. To the many that take the time to post - thank you!
