Atheros AR5007EG Disappearing from Windows 7 32 Bit
Okie dokie. Here's the downlow. My wireless network adaptor completely and utterly disappears from my system. Confused? I have been as well for as long as its been happening. Here are my specs.
Laptop: Toshiba Satellite A200-FS6
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
Adaptor: Atheros AR5007EG
Now pretty much what is happening is periodically (the time changes when it happens so I don't get it) the little group of bars on the bottom left that signify my wireless connection, will disappear, have a red x through them, and then it will go to the
symbol saying that I don't have it plugged into an ethernet cable. I then go check my devices and my Atheros Wireless Network Adaptor has disappeared from the list. I refresh, I do it all and the only thing that makes it reappear is a full shut down (not even
a restart but a full shut down). I would only be mildly annoyed with his but the fact that its been an ongoing problem and no matter HOW long I google I have YET to find a fix. I've got updated drivers and everything. So I'm turning to anyone here for help.
Thanks.

Hi,
I would like to suggest you update the BIOS, the chipset drivers and the wireless network card driver from Toshiba website to check the result.
If it does not work, you may also test the issue in
Clean Boot to check if there are any software conflicts.
If the issue persists, you’d better contact Toshiba Support to check if the wireless network card is damaged.
